ugh can people please stop pretending that reading is automatically more intellectual and sophisticated?
movies and television can be just as equally stimulating and poignant as a book
one method of storytelling is not automatically better than the other

I’m really enjoying The Secret Circle. It definitely reminds me of The Vampire Diaries (go Kevin Williamson!). It’s thought provoking and I love learning more about each teen’s past every episode. Plus, its cinematography is beautiful.
Aw, bye, guys! Going to attend the big party in the sky!
What a crock of shit! Watching television is not DIRECTLY correlated to people dying. You don’t die by watching television by itself. It’s the fucked up habits like eating unhealthy snacks while watching TV that cause obesity, which can lead to other problems. This has such a misleading title. By their definition anything you do while sitting down that causes mindless eating can cause you to die soon. Seriously Australian researchers, stick to what you know: having a sexy accent and kangaroo knowledge.
Looks like watching seven seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer alone has caused me to lose roughly 37 hours of my life. Worth. Every. Second.
